We help brands unlock growth in today’s fiercely competitive markets.
A BRIEF AUTOBIOGRAPHY
I learned the ropes at Procter & Gamble leading several strategy and innovation new teams.
When I first started working at P&G, many innovation teams would spend lots of time conducting time-consuming and expensive research that was full of insights. However, we typically fell short of research to turn these insights into action. Ultimately, many key decisions related to commercialization were gut calls by senior executives rather than being driven by the people actually buying our product. Not surprisingly, the majority of innovation failed to deliver on profit expectations.
I lead a team that spearheaded a new fast-cycle insights and commercialization process that leveraged faster, smaller studies to iterate products and ideas until they were fully honed and ready to commercialize. Our fast-cycle process allowed teams to reduce the innovation timeline while also increasing innovation value.
I started Fast-Cycle X because I wanted to work with other companies that were also unsatisfied with the status quo and have loved the opportunity to help teams achieve their goals and win in the market.
On a personal side, I earned my Bachelor’s degree at the United States Military Academy at West Point and my MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. I also serve in the non-profit sector as the Chairman of our local YMCA Board. Prior to joining the business world, I spent over 5 years in the military, including 15 months leading a reconnaissance platoon in Iraq. I’ve got 3 kids and find my free time is spent playing basketball, legos, and watching a baby learn how to crawl.
